Payment Policy
Through our HIPAA-compliant electronic health records (EHR) software, payment for services will occur automatically through the card on file, as required by our EHR. If payment is not received, further services, including, but not limited to, pre-scheduduled in-home, virtual, and appointment support sessions, crisis calls, text support, and phone support will be cancelled and unavailable until payment has been received.
If your family would benefit from sliding scale services, we offer a limited number of sliding scale spots. Fees for sliding scale clients is individualized. If you or your family is interested in sliding scale services, please inquire regarding availability at info@springyouth.org.
If your family would benefit from payment plans instead of session-by-session charges, this is something we are willing to work out. Payment plans are individualized and are occur in weekly payments. If payment for services has not been received by the agreed upon date, further services, including, but not limited to pre-scheduled in-home, virtual, and appointment support sessions, crisis calls, text support, and phone support will be cancelled and unavailable until payment has been received. If you or your family is interested in payment plans, please inquire at info@springyouth.org.
Cancellation, Reschedule, and Refund Policy
Simultaneously understanding that life happens and time is valuable, we require at least 24-hour's notice for cancellations and reschedules for pre-scheduled sessions. Any cancellations/reschedules before that period will be at no charge. Any cancellations less than 24-hour's notice for pre-scheduled sessions will be charged a full session fee, and rescheduling is unavailable less than 24 hours before a session. No-shows will also be charged at a full session fee.
Once payment is received, refunds are unavailable.
All families get one (1) free late cancel, meaning that a family can cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours at no charge once during our work together. If your MHPS has to late cancel or late reschedule, your family receives a "banked" late cancel.
Crisis Support Policy
As in-home or location-specific crisis support is offered as a part of our services, the following describes our role:
Community Session Policy
Peer support services often occur in the community to practice skills and challenge fears. While we will meet you and your family at the pre-set location, we do not travel with nor transport youth.
If crises arise during community sessions, we will engage in verbal de-escalation efforts as per our crisis support policy.
Food, beverages, and activities for the youth will be paid for by SPRINGyouth, up to $20 in value. Anything over $20 will be the responsibility of the youth and/or their family.
Community sessions have the same cancellation and reschedule policies as other scheduled sessions, including both timing and fees.
Replacements for Professional Medical or Therapeutic Advice
As provided by certified Mental Health Peer Specialists, services through SPRINGyouth are NOT a replacement for medical or mental health treatment, therapy, advice, or diagnosis. If you have a question regarding medical or mental health advice, please consult your physician or mental health treatment provider. If we are working together and you do not yet have a physician or mental health treatment provider, we will connect you with a quality provider as soon as possible.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
SPRINGyouth reserves the right to amend the above terms and conditions at any time. We will notify you by your preferred method of communication, as well as by email if your preferred communication method is not by email.
